- We are a fabless semiconductor company that designs, markets and sells mixed signal integrated circuits, for multiple digital video applications in the security surveillance, automotive and consumer markets, including security surveillance systems, in-car LCD displays, advanced TVs, multifunction LCD monitors, and DVD Recorders. We design both general purpose and application specific products that enable the conversion of analog video sources to digital form, as well as facilitate the display, storage and transport of digital video, HDTV, and personal computer display information. Our ICs are based on proprietary technologies that we believe provide superior video quality under virtually all signal conditions, enable higher levels of integration and are more cost effective than competing －natives.
Founded in 1997, we currently have over 90 employees and are headquartered in San Jose, California, with additional R&D and sales activities in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China. Techwell offered it''''s Initial Public Offering on June 21, 2006. Techwell trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange, ticker symbol TWLL.
Our semiconductors are used in products sold by over 95 companies including many of the major system OEMs in the security surveillance and consumer electronics markets. To date, we have sold over twenty million mixed signal semiconductor products for digital video applications.
