Hikvision's Camera Wins 2012 Red Dot Product Design Award

Hikvision is proud to announce that its new DS-2CD8464F-EI network camera recently won the 2012 “Red Dot Product Design Award.” The network camera specifically designed for home-surveillance purposes, won this prestigious award for its innovative design and appearance.

The Red Dot Design Award, organized on an annual basis by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, is the world's largest and most famous industrial design competition. For the 2012 edition, over 4,500 of the world's most advanced products were submitted by 1,800 manufacturers and designers – a collection comprising contestants from 58 different countries. When the dust finally settled, Hikvision's winning network camera rose to the top of the field on the strength of its exclusive and innovative design.

Equipped with an articulated bracket, the Hikvision winning network camera allows the flexibility to fully adjust its angles in order to better accommodate varying monitoring environments. With its built-in IR LEDs, it captures clear images in ultra-low illumination environments, and additionally offers users the benefit of wired and Wi-Fi data transmission.
