An update to
Honeywell's MAXPRO NVR 4.0 is now available for download and is shipping on all new MAXPRO NVR orders.
New Camera Support
This update provides support for the new equIP Series 4K cameras, new HDZ PTZ cameras, and the new 6MP 360° camera. This release also supports the H.265 codec for greater storage saving.
New User Interface Features
Additional User Interface updates include:
- GPU rendering on the latest Intel processors (“SkyLake”) for more efficient video viewing
- A new PTZ control method, “3D positioning,” which allows simple click-based camera positioning
- Dewarping for the newly released equIP Series 6MP 360° camera in the form of Quad views, panorama views and fisheye view. (ePTZ functionality will be introduced in an upcoming update)
New Events Supported
Certain analytics events, such as Face detection, Audio detection, and Tamper detection, available through the new equIP Series 4K and PTZ cameras are now supported as part of this update.
The new MAXPRO NVR 4.1 is supported on existing MAXPRO VMS R310 installations by installing a new driver on MAXPRO VMS (Build 376) or through the new release of MAXPRO VMS R410 available for download from MyWebTech.
