- DeView‘s D150HF vandal dome series has been designed and developed especially for railway projects and is the only vandal resistant dome series available on the market which has been approved for those types of applications. Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, the housing, rated IP67, is of cast aluminium construction and features a durable flame-retardant glass reinforced nylon body with an impact and scratch resistant polycarbonate bubble. Installation could not be easier, combining the option of surface or flush mount configurations with NPT standard conduits for easy cabling. The housing operates on 12VDC/24VAC and is available with a choice of high quality colour day/night camera modules supplied on a 3-axis gimbal to allow the camera to be moved in any direction. The cameras come in two versions with a choice of varifocal lenses, either with 2.9~10mm or 9.22mm. One features the latest Sony HQ1 DSP technology, offering low light performance and accurate colour reproduction. The other utilises Pixim Technology, permitting the camera to correctly resolve images in any lighting conditions, with an extremely wide dynamic range. Both platforms are available as colour and true day/night. The D150HF series has been tested and certified to meet the international and EMC railway standards, and deView is currently working in partnership with the largest rail companies in the United Kingdom to secure rail applications.
