- deView's Prison Domes (VDM15 Series) are the strongest fixed vandal domes available on the market.
They are the perfect solution to secure prisons but also other external industrial, commercial, education and retail environments. They provide an absolute vandal proof performance combined with an outstanding video image quality.
The housing integrates a die-cast aluminium case rated IP66 with a scratch resistant polycarbonate bubble that can withstand heavy impacts with a force of up to 800 kgs. It can be surface or flush mounted both internally and externally and features a unique conical shape with numerous mounting points to allow for greater security and less chance of physical interference.
The VDM15 domes come with a choice of camera modules supplied on a 3-axis gimbal with 2.9~10mm or 9~22mm lens. The HQ1 version offers a resolution of 540 TVL with an outstanding performance in low light and accurate colour reproduction. The Wide Dynamic (Pixim?) models integrate IPE-DSP (Individual Pixel Exposure Digital Signal Processing) allowing it to correctly resolve images with an extremely wide dynamic range and deliver a resolution superior to 504 TVL. Both platforms are also available as true day/night giving the benefit of IR sensitivity with clear and detailed video images during the day and at night.
