Designed to upgrade existing systems, this multiCLASS reader updates HID Prox to iCLASS credentials. With this new reader, customers can transfer to smartcards gradually while still maintaining ability to use multiple-card technologies within single buildings or even across multiple facilities if needed. Dual authentication allows the end-user to feel more secure with data encryption as does the personalized security pin number. It can read multiple card technologies, including iCLASS, DESFire, FIPS201, Mifare CSN, HID Prox, ISO 14443B and FeliCa.
