Korenix JetNet 5728G series are the World''''s 1st Rackmount Gigabit Managed High Power PoE switches designed with 8, 16 and 24 PoE interfaces and the best hardware / software features to provide excellent network performance in highly critical PoE applications. The PoE ports of the switches can deliver up to 30W per port and over 400W per unit by the latest 802.3at High Power PoE standard for upgrading the existing video network infrastructure to a powerful surveillance network.

JetNet 5728G series are 16/24+4G port switches designed with different PoE port densities, including 8, 16 and 24 PoE ports to deliver high quality data transmission in flexible surveillance applications. The 4 Gigabit combo ports provide high-speed copper or fiber uplink to connect with backbone switches in different distance applications and therefore provide quick and reliable delivery of large megapixel video streams. Besides, to achieve higher quality for video transmission, the switches support 9K Jumbo Frame, allowing transmitting large video packets with fewer segments.

The JetNet 5728G series, equipped with both IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at compliant PoE ports, can deliver up to 30W power per port and, thus are designed exclusively for highly critical PoE applications, such as real time IP video surveillance with high resolution quality, Wimax and 802.11 a/b/g/n APs systems etc. To ensure the reliable and non-stop power delivery, users can choose out of 3 Powering mechanisms the mode which suits best for their system, including the Forced Powering, the 2-event powering as well as the LLDP PoE classification modes. Furthermore, with the exclusive emergency power management function, the switches can power higher and lower wattage devices by balancing each port PoE power output.

The new Rackmount high-port density PoE switches provide MSR and the exclusive MultiRing design, which allows forming up to 12 100Mbps and 2 1000Mbps rings while providing high quality video stream transmission for flexible applications. They outstand from other PoE switches, by providing LLDP and the Korenix patented JetView Pro industrial NMS, to ease the work of administrators, by allowing them automatically discover over 1000 devices, perform MSR configuration, remote and centralized management, and efficiently manage the real-time network.
To achieve the best quality of video transmission, the switches also provide various Layer2 management features, such as DHCP option 82, QoS, 255 VLAN groups, IGMP Snooping, LACP link aggregation etc.
