The Turbine with IP Video is an extended version of the Turbine Compact (TCIS). The Turbine Video has a design that is simple and sophisticated to suit a universal market range. With a minimal arrange of buttons and a larger speaker grill the design is easy, straightforward and understandable. With an open duplex solution the Turbine with Video opens up for a free flow between two active parties that allows them to communicate simultaneously. The system supports the three working modes; Alphacom, Sip and Pulse.
The Turbine Video delivers up to 720P HD-video in 30 fps over H.264. Lower resolutions (down to 320×240) and MJPEG codec are also supported for legacy- or less capable systems. The lens is a wide angle lens that offers up to 90° FoV (horizontal) and combined with a high-power LED the system offers excellent performance, day or night. Adding the IP HD video function to the Turbine the parties communicating get valuable information about each other through video of high quality. Used as an Emergency Call Point, the Turbine Video can provide security and rescue personnel with information about facial expression, the person’s health and the action of the situation. This makes it easier for the personnel to assess the situation in order to take the appropriate action.
The Turbine stations are built for extreme durability and resilience. This qualifies the stations for an IP65 rating and an IK rating of between 8-10. Vingtor-Stentofon’s Turbine stations are designed to cope with the harshest environment. They are resistant of dirt, dust and water. With the capability of handling temperatures from -40°C to up to 60°C* the stations can be used in all climates. The Turbine’s MEMS microphone is highly impervious to temperature fluctuations, and maintain their sensitivity irrespective of extreme high or low temperatures.(*Temperature below -20 degrees might affect sound quality as the membrane stiffens.)
