AMAX panels are renowned for being complete intrusion protection systems that are further enhanced by such peripheral devices as detectors and keypads. 16 zones are available on board, which can be expanded to 64 zones and divided into 16 partitions.
Wireless and wired detectors
A further feature of the new AMAX panel is that it now supports RADION wireless devices, a reliable and proven intrusion technology. Enhanced by a modern electronic design for better manufacturability and robustness, the updated system has an increased range due to improved radio tolerances. Motion detectors, smoke detectors, bill trap, panic buttons, key fobs, universal transmitter and magnetic contacts are all part of the RADION portfolio currently available. Additional repeaters can be installed to expand the distance covered by the system.
Alarm transmission
The AMAX 4000 panel has a dual-path signaling solution with completely integrated “Public switched telephone networking” (PSTN) communicator and expansion modules for IP and GSM/GPRS communication. Furthermore, it has advanced remote control (parameter setting) and diagnostic capabilities over PSTN and IP communication paths.
