  • The miPASS smart card range offers full read-write functionality, making recycling of cards or addition of more data easy. These memory cards are made up of sectors or folders used to store data, which are locked securely with encrypted keys. Data contained in cards is transmitted via a high-frequency signal from reader to card at a distance of up to five centimeters. Unlike contact cards, miPASS smart cards eliminate ambient concerns of humidity, dirt and dust, thus decreasing wear and tear and adding to card longevity. Data is also guaranteed to be retained in the card for up to 10 years.
