Face ID 4 is an all-new and powerful face recognition terminal from FingerTec that provides solid identity verification through its biometrics technology, recognizing a face in mere seconds for accurate attendance reporting. With Face ID 4, users who need to verify their identities need to only show their face to the terminal’s camera, making the process completely tokenless and contactless! This helps increase the product life as well as eliminates hygiene issues.
In order to keep all transactions quick and accurate, Face ID 4 is equipped with the latest VX8.0 face recognition algorithm for face detection during verification and enrolment. The algorithm combines two-dimensional and three-dimensional matching techniques, ensuring a precise mapping of a user’s facial features. Coupled with Face ID 4’s optical infrared camera, identities can be verified even under low-lighting situations for maximum user convenience.
On top of face recognition, Face ID 4 also supports multiple verification methods. 64-bit, 125 kHz RFID cards and 8-digits passwords can be substituted or added to the verification methods to increase security. Support for MFIS50/S70, 13.56 MHz MiFARE cards can also be made to order when purchasing the terminal.
Face ID 4 is designed with the users’ convenience in mind, whereby the terminal is engineered specifically to facilitate easy positioning and alignment of a user’s face for a hassle-less verification. Syncing the terminal to a PC is also stress-free as the terminal supports TCP/IP and USB flash disk for communication methods. Bundled together with TCMS V2, FingerTec’s comprehensive time attendance software, Face ID 4 provides users with high-quality features and functions at an economical price.
