3M Cogent's Child ID software is a fast, easy, inkless, and secure way to provide parents with their child's vital information at their fingertips. The Child ID software guides the user to input the child's demographic information, the parent's contact information, and capture of the child's fingerprints and picture. The intuitive software and realtime image quality check feature inspires confidence in the user, making the experience nonintimidating for both the child and parent. A report can be printed and/or saved to a CD-ROM disc for the parent. To safeguard against misuse of the child's information, the Child ID software discards all captured information upon closing the application, providing parents with the peace of mind in knowing that they have the only copy of their child's information.
No ink, no messy hands! The Child ID system is compatible with 3M Cogent's CS500e slap scanner or 3M Cogent's CSD 200 and CSD 330 single finger scanners. These scanners digitally capture the child's fingerprints without the use of ink. The lightweight and compact designs have a power USB 2.0 interface that eliminates excessive cables. The scanners are FBI-certified according to the IAFIS Image Quality specifications assuring both the user and the parent that they are getting high-quality fingerprint images.
