- JVC's VN-V685U Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) IP Network Camera is designed for a wide range of security applications. It can be powered through its Ethernet connection. JVC's silent direct drive PTZ motor gives it endless 360° rotation, while delivering fast and precise operation with accuracy within 0.03 degrees.
The camera is extremely responsive, with speed range of 0.04° to 400° per second. It supports full frame dual streaming of JPEG and MPEG-4 compression at 30 frames per second. The easy auto tracking function detects a moving object and tracks it automatically. It includes true day/night, offering improved image quality in low light situations. The camera offers hot-swap functionality and a one-touch-lock for quick installation and maintenance. It features support for the JVC protocol and Verint's Video Services over IP (VSIP) protocol for camera control.
