The latest version of Divar XF firmware embodies advanced automatic event handling that allows events to automatically trigger actions. This enables different automated actions to be made depending on the type of event. For example, cameras can be moved into predetermined positions, changes made to recording profiles or displaying of multiple cameras on screen.
Studies have shown that operators can miss up to 95 percent of the activity in a scene after only 22 minutes of continuous monitoring. The fully automated event-handling schemes embodied in the new firmware upgrade provide, in effect, 'an extra pair of hands' that help operators by bringing crucial events to their attention instantly, ensuring prompt, reliable responses to security alerts.
The Divar XF H.264 hybrid recorder is the latest addition to the company's high performance surveillance recorder range. This recorder supports real-time high quality video in H.264 compression on a total of 24 channels, with up to eight H.264 network cameras and RAID-4 storage to prevent loss of video when a single hard disk fails.
