Challenges
Due to its distinctive position for foreign affairs, the foreign affairs ministry building requires specific security solution. Not only can it call for an access control system that has large capacity to facilitate a large number of users, it also requires top-of-the-line security equipment to protect its people and assets affiliated with important international matters. Over all, security answers are in need to increase the protection provided to the building and prevent any possibly unseen and unexpected hazards beforehand.

Solution
Optimum Guvenlik, IDTECK's Executive Distributor of Turkey, has provided an exclusive security solution to fulfill the needs of the ministry building. To secure all the entranceS and exits, 340 units of RF10, 125KHz proximity card reader, have been in place on all the doors including the crypto rooms. For areas where higher security is required, RFK101, combination of PIN and proximity card readers has been deployed to stringently regulate unauthorized visitors from entering the area. Total of 40 units of RFK101 has been installed in the building.

As for the twelve ministry department entry points, which are limited to official personnel and VIPs only, the fingerprint recognition proximity reader, provided the best answer as the device identifies fingerprint biometric information as well as PIN and proximity card. All of the readers are equipped with 100 units of iTDC, the intelligent multidoor access control panel, to offer stable management of the system. In addition, iTDC PRO II, access control software was installed to monitoring all the access events. Outside of the ministry building, RF245, the long range proximity reader, was applied to traffic flow, controlling all the vehicles coming in and out of the area.
