ICx Technologies, a developer of advanced sensor technologies for homeland security, force protection and commercial applications, announced it ranked No. 37 on Technology Fast 500, Deloitte's ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the five year period from 2004–2008.
Colin Cumming, CEO of ICx Technologies, credits the company's commitment to innovation, integration and integrity with the company's revenue growth over the past five years. He said, “Innovation is core to our corporate culture and it allows us to continually differentiate ourselves from the competition. It is rewarding to see our company ranked so highly overall on a list such as the Technology Fast 500, but particularly so when we have the second highest revenue growth for scientific and technical instrumentation companies.”
“Technology Fast 500 recognizes innovative companies that have broken down barriers to success and defied the odds with their remarkable five-year revenue growth,” said Phil Asmundson, Vice Chairman and US Technology, Media and Telecommunications leader, Deloitte. “We congratulate ICx on this accomplishment.”
“With its impressive five-year growth, ICx Technologies has earned its position among the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America,” said Mark Jensen, Managing Partner, Technology and Venture Capital Services, Deloitte & Touche. “Deloitte is proud to honor ICx Technologies for its achievement.”
