IDIS has announced the appointment of Rob Clark to the role of National Distribution Manager based out of the IDIS European headquarters in Brentford, London. Rob Clark joins IDIS to focus on UK distribution sales for the IDIS total solution that comprises three highly flexible offerings. These include the company's flagship surveillance solution, DirectIP, IDIS Solution Suite, and the recently launched DirectCX. He will be responsible for leveraging and nurturing new and existing distribution partnerships while developing channel-marketing initiatives to increase value for both IDIS and its distribution partners.
He brings with him over ten years of experience in the security industry, particularly in video surveillance and access control with excellent knowledge of both IP and analog technologies. He also has a strong technical sales background having worked closely with end users, specifiers and installers to design and develop fully integrated security solutions.

He most recently held channel and business development positions at Sony and TDSi and held sales positions at Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Genesis and Mitsubishi. He has OND in Mechanical Electrical and Electronic Engineering plus a multitude of professional accreditations in all aspects of voice, data networking, server-based technologies, application, and integration management across a wide range of technology vendors
