According to a report by New York-based Citizens Crime Commission, the number of shooting incidents in US colleges has increased dramatically over the last five years, and has more than doubled compared to the decade before. This alarming trend is expected to boost demand in the campus security market as universities are progressively looking toward integrated, smarter ways to reduce crimes and create safe learning environments for students. Threats to safety will continue to evolve and it will be vital for universities to upgrade their security systems and integrate new technology to counter this or suffer dire consequences. |
