SYAC-TB, TECHBOARD SECURITY DIVISION

TECHBOARD, ITALIAN LEADER IN THE PRODUCTION OF PROFESSIONAL PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS WITH PLANTS IN MODENA AND SHENZHEN (CHINA), TAKES OVER EMC, AN ITALIAN COMPANY SPECIALIZED IN THE FIELD OF PROFESSIONAL RADIO COMMUNICATION.
After the successful taking over of SYAC, that became SYAC-TB in November 2012, TECHBOARD is incorporating EMC, a Modenese company founded in 1973 and specialized in the design and production of repeater stations and transceiver equipment for both fixed and mobile use.
From professional printed circuit boards to the field of Videosurveillance with the acquisition of SYAC, and to the field of Professional Radio Communication with the taking over of EMC, TECHBOARD continues its expansion strategy targeting niche markets, which are still growing even during this period of down economy and are seeing the entry of new competitors of various size and from different sectors.

We have added the acronym “TB” to EMC, as we did for SYAC, to give birth to a new division that will offer important guarantees in terms of continuity and will mark the beginning of an organizational modernization for EMC, exploiting and creating synergies to provide high quality, integrated, cost-competitive and on-time delivered products and solutions.”
The EMC-TB’s activities of production and design will remain strongly connected to each other as TECHBOARD has absorbed most of the EMC staff, enriching the whole group with highly qualified technicians. Like the DIGIEYE video surveillance systems, designed and developed by SYAC-TB in the Trieste AREA SCIENCE PARK, EMC-TB’s systems and solutions will further enhance the Made in Italy innovation capabilities, from research and development to control, supervision, production and testing of the final products. “We will leverage on our manufacturing capabilities to optimize the production processes of the EMC systems and on new alliances to open new markets.” foresees FABIO MALAGOLI. “EMC will maintain its current regional presence, but also consolidate and increase the installations aboard through TECHBOARD’s and SYAC-TB’s partners network. We will add a very important strategic value to EMC’s activities, allowing it to enter from the front door into the high-end Electronic Security market, where SYAC-TB enjoys a privileged position. On the other hand, our whole group will gain a mix of specialized competencies and innovative technologies necessary to supply flexible, integrated and integrable solutions, suitable to the demanding needs of particular segments. We work in this direction: supply real solutions, able to meet the real needs of the market, but at the same time, advantageous in terms of cost effectiveness and/or time saving. Solutions capable of providing advanced technology in a sustainable manner because compliant with the standards and efficiently supported.
