The newly-announced support for iPad, iPhone, Android mobile applications utilizes 3G/3.5G or Wi-Fi to provide live streaming of video anywhere, anytime. User can switch back and forth between video from a vacation house, office, primary home, and/or garage. Simply click and select from a pull-down menu on their mobile app. Users have the flexibility to select specific channels from different recorders and switch to PTZ cameras for maximum resolution streaming images. The rapid increase in the number of tablet and smartphone users, constructs to more advanced network infrastructure, improves device display quality, and concluded that mobile devices will become the entry level point for many video surveillance system users.

In terms of managing video surveillance for personal use, Plustek has successfully introduced its energy saving, fan-less, and compact NVR standalone Slim240Pro. This NVR recorder manages four network cameras simultaneously and is perfect for decentralized surveillance. For professional users, Plustek offers the system NVR4200/4300 series of anti-vibration, standalone NVRs. This class of NVRs manages up to 12 channels with dual GIGA LAN ports, which deliver uninterrupted transmission of video, even on public transportation.
