Korenix JetNet 5228G Rackmount Managed Ethernet Switch, equipped with 24 ports and 4 Gigabit combo ports is defined as an access-level switch for installation in industrial environments. It is a special design for buildings, control rooms and telecom applications where high-port density and outstanding performance are required. 4 gigabit ports of JetNet 5228G allow users to trunk up to 8G uplink bandwidth, load balancing, path protection and, thus to ensure reliable network redundancy.
The flexible interface allows JetNet 5228G to provide excellent performance while maintaining full interoperability with other vendors’ devices.

Along with the JetNet 5228G model supporting AC 90-264V power input, Korenix also introduces 12-48VDC source based JetNet 5228G-DC for a redundant power connection in control rooms.

To meet the advanced management and security requirements for network communication with extended performance in industrial control rooms, JetNet 5228G supports advanced layer 2 management features such as QoS, MSTP, VLAN, IGMP, SNMPv3, LLDP etc. With its layer 2/4 ACL (Access Control List) function JetNet 5228G assures the highly secure data management.
Besides, JetNet5228G integrates Multicast VLAN Registration (MVR) feature for reducing multicast stream loading of the source port and, thus, guaranteeing the efficient multisite network functionality.

In addition to the versatile management features of JetNet 5228G, the low power consumption, fan-less design and the -25~70C wide operating temperature make it cost effective and best fitted device for industrial monitoring rooms.
