Company Introduction
- During the early 1990's, software provider Credible Solutions were attempting to satisfy the needs of the Hong Kong Government by providing life support services for the construction of a new airport.
Communication between the UK and the new island could only be made via mobile lines which were scarce. Lines were almost impossible to access as they were consistently busy. This meant completing the simplest of tasks was time consuming and expensive. Not to be put off, David Isom, the founder of Credible Solutions addressed the problem by creating the first DOS PC program to send messages to mobile phones. The program was simple, using easy to create and edit batch files, communication was enabled using a standard low cost PC modem. The difference it made was astonishing as it was now possible to get messages through when the lines were busy. The money and time saved allowed the job to be completed on time and within budget!
