Synectic Systems, (Synectics) a developer and manufacturer of enterprise-class digital recording solutions, announced that Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico, chose its surveillance system to replace the casino's existing digital system. Powered by the company's video management software and best of breed hardware, the new system at Sandia will be the largest all-IP Synectics system installed in North America. Sandia Resort and Casino is a premiere destination featuring 160,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 2,000 slots and 52 table and poker games.

"We are delighted to be working with the Pueblo of Sandia who operates the Sandia Resort and Casino, one of the most beautiful and successful gaming destinations in the Southwest," said John Katnic, VP and COO for Synectics North American division. "This pure IP solution, showcasing state-of-the-art recording, monitoring, transmission, integration and command control technologies, will be the most advanced in the gaming industry."

The new system will record more than 1,500 network streams, using a combination of HD and network cameras. Working with integrator/installer Technical Security Integration (TSI), Synectics participated in an extensive product evaluation process with the Pueblo of Sandia, which included head-to-head comparisons with competing systems and site visits to existing Synectics installations. Synectics was ultimately selected by the Pueblo of Sandia Tribal Council based on the system's ease-of-use, open architecture, comprehensive feature set and five-year warranty.
