March Networks Names Four Industry Veterans to its Management Team

Hans Downer, the company's new VP of Professional Services, brings 35 years of global support, professional services and sales experience to March Networks. Downer has served in a variety of roles with both large and mid-sized corporations such as Mxi Technologies, Entrust, Interpath, Mediphis and Nortel. He has supported major client deployments involving both hardware and software in a variety of vertical markets, including the financial, commercial/industrial and government sectors. Downer assumes responsibility for March Networks' customer service and support and is committed to ongoing enhancements to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Joining March Networks as Product Marketing Manager for Edge Devices is Dan Cremins. A 16-year veteran of the video security industry, Cremins comes to March Networks from Tyco/American Dynamics, where he held management positions in Application Engineering, Product Management and Business Development. In his new role at March Networks, Cremins assumes responsibility for marketing the company's camera and encoder portfolio in the North American marketplace.


Jesse Frye has joined March Networks as Product Marketing Manager responsible for the company's VMS software portfolio. Frye was formerly with Cisco Systems, where he was a key member of the marketing and sales team for Cisco's IP video surveillance practice. In his new role with March Networks, he will take the lead on growing the company's presence within the high growth IP video market.


Joining the March Networks team as VP of Sales, with responsibility for Europe, the Middle East and Africa is Luigi Portaluri. A 20-year veteran of the security industry, Portaluri was a senior Executive with Pelco from 2002 to 2010 and worked for Sensormatic Electronic, Italia (Tyco), Checkpoint Systems, Honeywell and Siemens. He has an master's in business administration from the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, along with a degree in economics and management from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
