Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the supplier of digital video surveillance products with the headquarters in China, released its PSIA compliant network cameras (DS-2CD862MF-E 1.3-Megapixel CCD-based and DS-2CD852MF-E 2-Megapixel). "We are proud to release these products this year," said Yangzhong Hu, President of Hikvision. "This is a very important time in our industry and we are determined to play an important role in it."

In addition to these two new products, visitors can see Hikvision's complete surveillance product line at the show, including hybrid DVR, embedded Net DVRs, A/V compression boards, multipurpose digital video servers, as well as networked front-end products such as network cameras and IP speed domes.

The Hikvision DS-2CD862MF-E 1.3-megapixel network camera offers HD video quality with enhanced sensitivity in low-light scenarios using a 1/3-inch Sony progressive scan CCD. In addition, its advanced auto iris, as well as WDR and back light compensation technologies enable the product to provide clear images in various lighting conditions. The Hikvision DS-2CD852MF-E 2-megapixel network camera can deliver real-time video by adopting the advanced DSP platform and MPEG-4/H.264 video codec. And its progressive scan technology enables the product to capture HD panoramic views of moving objects in the shortest time.

Once these products have been launched, Hikvision will further release a full range of network cameras that are compliant with industry open standards. These products, conforming to PSIA and ONVIF, allow Hikvision customers access to a full range of IP systems, with global interoperability.

"As video surveillance heads towards IP, having industry standards compliant products is one of the major steps for us to provide a higher value in the booming IP surveillance market," said Polo Cai, VP of Hikvison. "In addition, with interoperability the market will be able to enjoy IP solutions that meet various requirements from diversified and critical security applications."
