The 12th SecuTech Expo offered networking opportunities at the Asian Manufacturer Summit and the Country Hour sessions.
(TAIPEI, Taiwan) — Asia's biggest security show, SecuTech Expo 2009, provided unparalleled face-to-face interactions between suppliers and buyers.
Asian Manufacturer Summit
Recognizing the need for a platform between Asian manufacturers and global buyers, A&S International and A&S Asia hosted an Asian Manufacturer Summit. John Shih, Editorial Director for all A&S publications, presided over a panel discussion. The panel consisted of Gert van Iperen, President of Bosch Security Systems; Pramoud Rao, Managing Director for Zicom Electronic Security Systems; Surajit Biswas, Director of Vendor and Business Development for ADI Global Distribution and John Honovich, founder of IPVideoMarket.info.
Topics included factors for outsourcing products and partner criteria for OEM/ODM. The panel detailed benchmarks for evaluating products and manufacturing partners.
"As a responsible and world-class manufacturer, we set a high standard for the selection of our partners,” van Iperen said. “This is beneficial to distributors, to system integrators as well as to value-added resellers and, ultimately, to customers.”
Country Hours cater to buyers, with this year's groups including Japan, Singapore, Turkey and Vietnam. Buyers looking for specific solutions were matched to reputable suppliers, saving them time and effort.
SecuTech Expo 2009 is Asia's top annual security show, organized by A&S Group.
