Suprema unveils Suprema G-SDK software development kit
Suprema has announced the release of a new software development kit (SDK) Suprema G-SDK.
Suprema has announced the release of a new software development kit (SDK) Suprema G-SDK. It allows Suprema devices to be seamlessly integrated with third-party software. Suprema G-SDK is an enhancement to the previous BioStar 2 Device SDK.

Suprema G-SDK employs gRPC to communicate across different platforms in different programming languages including C++, C#, Java, Python, Objective-C, Go, JavaScript, and more. Additionally, Suprema G-SDK supports both iOS and Android platforms allowing users to easily build mobile new applications.

Suprema G-SDK provides greater performance to handle enhanced operations and more efficient data serialization resulting in faster data transfer for user management, event logging, etc. In fact, the data transfer speed for user management has been improved up to 10 times compared to the BioStar 2 Device SDK. The number of connected devices and user management data being transferred are increased remarkably.

Introducing the new software development kit, Young S. Moon, CEO of Suprema Inc. noted, “Suprema G-SDK is a lightweight, scalable, and cross-platform solution that can expedite users’ development. We expect that Suprema G-SDK will expand the usability for developers by supporting both on-premise and cloud environments using various languages.”
