Next Bike Sdn Bhd, the sole importer and distributor of Ducati motorbikes in Malaysia, will invest about $1.5 million to open five 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centers this year.

The company will upgrade 3 dealerships in Johor, Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur, which renovations are now 80% complete, and open new 3S centers in Kelantan and Sabah.

"Currently, we have three 3S centres located at Petaling Jaya and Sg Buloh in Selangor and Penang. By the end of the year, with the renovations completed and new centres open, we will have a total of eight 3S centres," said Naza Two Wheels Division VP Nik Danial Nik Mahmood.

"This mid-sized Monster is bound to become a new favorite among Malaysian riders and we estimate that this model will contribute 35% of Ducati's sales for 2014," said Nik Danial.

Next Bike Sdn Bhd has been the sole importer and distributor for the Ducati brand in Malaysia since November 2000 and has a comprehensive product line up for the Malaysian market, from superbikes, dual purpose bikes, touring bikes, street bikes and classic bikes with models such as the Ducati Monster, Hypermotard, Streetfighter, Multistrada, Diavel and 1199 Panigale.
