The 4K H.265 cameras are unique in many ways, said Chris Hsu, Global Marketing Manager at LILIN. “For H.265 cameras by other brands, they are mostly 5-megapixel. Ours is 4K,” he noted. “Also, other brands only allow users to choose between H.264 and H.265, while our cameras can transmit both streams. This is a real advantage when end users bid for projects.”
Besides cameras, LILIN also had on display video door stations equipped with a 1080p full-HD camera, allowing users to see clearly who’s at the door from not only in their home, but, when connected to a router or gateway, from anywhere in the world.
“Our expertise is in video. Yet, over the years we’ve detected the demand for integrating video with home automation. That’s why we came up with this product, enabling users to see what’s going on outside their home remotely through a mobile app,” Hsu added.
According to Hsu, the past two to three years has been a transitional period for LILIN, which formerly focused on the mid- to high-end segments of the market but is now also eyeing smaller businesses.
“For them, we have full HD IP cameras and NVRs to suit their basic video capturing and recording needs, with competitive prices comparable to China’s,” Hsu said.
