The company focuses on the software approach for the industry, instead of providing a hardware. Just because of this, the company is able to stay open to all kinds of hardware companies. David Jones, VP of Marketing of IntelliVision said, “We are a pure video analytics company and other companies don’t do many video analytics as we do. Now we have around 30 to 40 video analytics for multiple video applications.”
He further emphasized that video analytics is the “brains behind the eyes” for many camera applications. Some common applications, which IntelliVision focus on, can be seen in smart retail for business intelligence, smart city for traffic control systems, drones embedded with cameras to tracking objects, and smart home cameras for monitoring home.
