Lagerholm will serve Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland to work with EET Europarts as well as industry integrators, partners, consultants and end users to address expanding business opportunities in Northern Europe.

By bringing video surveillance, access control, number plate recognition, intrusion alarms, and other technologies with video analytics together to market, Genetec is very well positioned to meet the growing challenges and opportunities for modern security in Scandinavia.

"We are happy to welcome Joakim on board at Genetec as he helps bring visibility and awareness of the benefits of a unified security, open-platform system in the Nordic region," said Nick D'hoedt, Genetec's Regional Sales Director for Scandinavia, Benelux, and DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). "The Nordic countries are characterized by having open markets and the region is equipped with a digital focus and sophisticated infrastructure already very much in place."
