Axis and Genetec enhance casino security in California
Stones Gambling Hall in California, needed a video surveillance system that could blend with the design of the hall while still providing the highest degree of protection.

Stones hired Los Angeles, CA-based systems integrator and Axis Communications partner CCS to design a system that would maintain the casino's aesthetics. CCS selected Axis network cameras for the job, as the deep product portfolio would allow them flexibility with a variety of options for each part of the casino. CCS installed a range of cameras offering high definition resolution, discrete installation and options for remote maintenance and control. The system is managed through Genetec Security Center, the unified security platform which includes the Omnicast IP video management system (VMS), and runs on Dell PowerEdge servers.

Fairmont Jakarta safeguards the guest's security with QNAP VioStor NVR solution

Situated at the south end of Jakarta's central business district, Fairmont Jakarta features 380 well-appointed guestrooms and suites. 

With hundreds of guests visiting each day, Fairmont Jakarta management required a large-scale surveillance system to ensure customer safety while monitoring and recording hotel activities. In the first stage, they needed to deploy a video surveillance system capable of simultaneously monitoring tens of security cameras in the extensive areas in and around the hotel building. The management also preferred a surveillance system that would be highly flexible and expandable, allowing for the easy addition of new IP cameras.

After thorough research, they selected the QNAP VioStor VS-12164U-RP Pro+ NVR for their security system deployment.

Mongolian bank fully covers 530 branches with QNAP security surveillance solution
With over 530 branches throughout the country, Khan Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in Mongolia and provides banking services to an estimated 70% of Mongolian households. The Khan Bank was established in 1991 as the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in connection with the dissolution of the State Bank of Mongolia's monopoly. The Bank assumed most of the assets and businesses of the State Bank in rural Mongolia.

Khan Bank decided to replace their analog CCTV systems with a digital surveillance solution and install 156 units of the QNAP VioStor VS-2104 Pro+ NVR, 98 units of the VS-2108L NVRs, and 20 units of the TS-469 Pro Turbo NAS in their branches and ATM areas. Khan Bank upgraded their surveillance infrastructure to an all-IP solution featuring network cameras.

The Black Oak Casino Resort provides 164,000+ square feet of gaming and entertainment options: a conference event center, real and video slot machines, table games, poker, nine restaurants and bars, a bowling center, players club, gift shop, and a kids' arcade.

The primary goals for the resort were to switch to high definition cameras, enhance the virtual matrix capability, provide a migration strategy and the equipment to upgrade to a full IP-based system, and transition in a way that would be easy for the security staff to adopt. 

In addition to the new cameras, SSI also removed the existing legacy analog video matrix that provided live video and control of the existing analog pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras and replaced it with the latest Pelco Endura 2.0 Video Management System (VMS).

Hyatt Hotels set a global standard with Milestone video
Hyatt Hotels owns and manages hundreds of properties worldwide. Until 2013, they had no standardized video surveillance security platform. The head of global security for Hyatt Hotels felt it was important to have a standardized security platform across its brands that would allow for integrated security and risk management, centralized support and training, and remote storage and incidence management.

In December 2012 he commissioned Hyatt's global security standards project. He reached out to VirSec Services to assist in choosing Hyatt's new platform and implementing the rollout.

As of early 2015 Milestone is online in close to 40 Hyatt properties with deployment plans in some stage of development in another 50-70 properties. The ultimate goal is all Hyatt properties.

For almost two-and-a-half years, the operating company of the Eintracht Stadium, the Stadthalle Braunschweig, conducted a thorough investigation of the subject and tested the systems offered by several different manufacturers. In the end, the Panomera multifocal sensor technology from Dallmeier emerged as the leader. And now, the video experts from Regensburg are supplying the entire video system – from cameras to recording to management.

SECOMP, a German-based distributor of VIVOTEK products, was commissioned to revamp the security system in EDEKA Voth. A comprehensive solution was designed that encompassed both indoor and outdoor surveillance throughout the entire complex. Twenty-four VIVOTEK's cameras were installed throughout the complex, comprising a combination of FD8166, FD8335H, IP7361, and MD7560.

Automatic teller machine (ATM) robberies, fraud, attacks, and vandalism are on the rise. Security for banks and ATMs can be a real challenge when faced with a multitude of threats including physical attacks and fraud. Established in 1986 in Taiwan, the bank has a history of 28 years of service to the local customers and facilitating growth in Taiwan.

A well-known bank group in Taiwan decided to monitor and manage its widespread branch offices and ATM machines by using Merit LILIN solutions. The bank recently upgraded the surveillance system at its 18 branches and 150 ATMs to an IP-based video surveillance system consisting of more than 300 units of IPC0122 LILIN Covert Cameras and 150 units of NVR104s.

VESDA was selected for its reputation in reliable and very early smoke detection. VESDA also protects other Vocus data centers throughout Australia where it continues to perform successfully. VESDA has previously detected incidents of power supplies failing inside the facilities detecting the small traces of smoke generated allowing the staff enough time for investigation and to mitigate any possible fire threat.

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is one of the largest government-owned banks in Indonesia. The organization places a very high importance on security; not only to ensure its proprietary business information stays safe, but also to protect employees and visiting clients.

With the aim of enhancing the security of their headquarters, BRI was looking to expand its physical access control system. BRI also wanted a more advanced and feature-rich IP-based access control system to protect main entrances and exits and other sensitive areas.

An open-architecture system was also important to accommodate device selection and other system integration in the future. With the help of local integrator Golden Solution Indonesia, BRI chose Genetec Security Center, the unified security platform with Synergis IP access control
