Challenge
With regard to video streaming, typically such action takes a wider bandwidth under high resolution condition. Surprisingly, many major sites from Power Plant support 40 kbps which is impossibly low bandwidth for two requirements including remote real time viewing and pop out alarm live viewing simultaneously. After consulting with GKB Security, we propose a turn-over IP solution which not only fulfills the sites necessities but also optimizes its security system.
Solution
Several sites of Power Plant commissioned with GKB Speed Dome, DZ2003, D34731 Dome Camera, D44731 Bullet Camera and DN1601 Linux NVR. The combination presents several advantages which are GKB IP Cameras, Cloud NVR and IVAST alarm system. GKB IP Camera is a very successful application in this case since it supports eight multiple streaming so that network adjustment based on users’ conditions is possible. This leads to problem free from 40 kbps low bandwidth. Furthermore, on account of the technique it supports various functions including IVAST system, Cloud NVR, mobile connection and CMS etc. IVAST system allows remote alarm and viewing from different sites under low bandwidth simultaneously. Finally, Cloud NVR provide great convenience with usages consist of sole account to manage numerous cameras at different sites, hierarchical management and support multiple video streams in view of customers wish.
