Morpho supports UN initiative by integrating civil registries in solution

Morpho (Safran) has announced that it is supporting the new sustainable development objectives approved by the United Nations General Assembly, by integrating civil registries and vital statistics (CRVS) in its MorphoCivis identity management and registration system. This state-of-the-art system addresses the expectations of developing countries by guaranteeing a legal identity for all citizens and access to public services.

The implementation of a powerful civil registry covering a country's entire population is one of the keys to the UN's commitment. In turn, it requires secure, digital civil registry systems, in particular supporting the establishment of statistics on entire populations. Governments and decision-makers use these statistics as a vital tool to support the development of their countries.

Morpho is bolstering its identity solutions at a time when major development agencies are also focusing on identity issues, such as the World Bank with an initiative called ID4D (Identity for Development).
