Interlogix highlighted a range of products that includes a new network video recorder (NVR), specialty IP video cameras and networking solutions. Interlogix is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies.

The new TruVision NVR 70 (TVN 70) supports up to 400 Mbps of incoming camera bandwidth or up to 128 IP camera channels, while offering up to 64TB of embedded storage in a RAID configuration or up to 96TB in a non-RAID format. Innovative features include advanced camera settings, failover recording, hard drive grouping and network segregation and redundancy. The recorder offers native TruVision IP camera support and supports third-party IP cameras via Onvif, PSIA and RTSP Stream.

"This new NVR is an ideal option for small- to mid-sized organizations, and includes the enterprise-class features and functions required by larger IP video surveillance systems," said Mike Chiavacci, General Manager, Video Solutions at Interlogix. "Using the TruVision Navigator video management system, the NVR 70 can be managed with license-free software in a standalone or client/host environment."

Specialty cameras
The new 1.3-megapixel covert IP camera offers high-definition images for applications such as retail, banking, airports and gaming, where camera concealment is desirable. It offers bi-directional audio and includes a memory card slot for redundancy in case of network disruption.

The TruVision IP Wi-Fi wedge IR camera (pictured above) is ideal for installations where installing cable would be difficult or cost prohibitive. Available in 1.3- and 3-megapixel resolutions, these cameras provide true day/night functionality, infrared illuminators and a built-in microphone that adds audio capabilities. Construction includes an impact-resistant housing, along with a corrosive-resistant baseplate and mounting hardware that make these cameras ideal for marine or land applications.

Encoders and decoders
New TruVison TVE Series IP Video Encoders include 1-, 4-, 8- and 16-channel units, allowing users to convert analog camera signals to a high-quality H.264 compressed IP signal. These encoders provide an easy solution for gradually upgrading video surveillance systems and migrating from analog to IP. These encoders provide an easy solution to migrate from analog to IP video surveillance as needs and budgets allow.

The TruVision High Definition IP Video Decoder converts IP video streams to analog video output for optimal video surveillance. The unit can decode two 5-megapixel, four 1080p, eight 720p or 16 960H resolution images while transmitting over multiple output interfaces. The decoder can also decode multiple streams from a TruVision 360-degree camera.
