Nedap launches a new activity -- "Nedap Mobility Solutions" -- within its business unit "Identification Systems." Nedap Mobility Solutions enables people and vehicles in urban environments to swiftly and safely reach their destinations.
The portfolio of Nedap Mobility Solutions comprises wireless vehicle detection sensors to assist motorists in quickly finding a parking bay and parking operators to optimize the utilization. Moreover, city access control systems keeps pedestrians in shopping zones safe while ensuring taxis, police and ambulances can fulfill their tasks.
Over the years Nedap has contributed to the optimization of traffic flows in hundreds of cities and similar environments, such as university campuses and large airports. “There is a growing demand for traffic flow optimization systems. However, this requires a specific set of skills, methodology and vocabulary to successfully implement these in demanding urban environments."

Nedap will officially launch ‘Nedap Mobility Solutions’ at the ITS World Congress in Bordeaux. Nedap Mobility Solutions will introduce itself during this event and will kick off its new marketing campaign ‘Survive the City’. This campaign highlights that Nedap understands what it takes to develop products that are able to excel in challenging city environments.
