secutech 2016 will feature dedicated pavilions for integrated solutions for verticals as transportation, retail, and residential, to create a friendly sourcing environment for visitors. The transportation pavilion will display electronic toll collection (ETC) applications, traffic flow management, vehicle telematics, and other integrated solutions for public and private vehicles. Held alongside the show will be the Systems Integrator Forum, aimed to enhance the smart city know-how of Asian systems integrators and project partners.

As a systems integrator and secutech visitor, Joni Iswanto, Director of Lintastama Jelajah Informatika (Lintastama), shared his view on the industry and the transformation of secutech. Lintastama, an Indonesia-based company founded in 2010, is a leading provider of IP security, integrated networking products, and solutions for enterprise in the growing market in Indonesia.

According to Iswanto, Lintastama has transformed from a distributor of products to a distributor of solutions. In Indonesia, transportation is one of the most in-demand verticals for security, to the country's geography — especially highways which are vital as the country consists of thousands of islands. Residential, in terms of apartment buildings, is another growing vertical due to an increase in safety awareness. Smart city projects are also coming up, despite construction and infrastructure not being quite mature yet. Regardless, there are still several smart city projects in progress. Furthermore, with city surveillance, apartment, and parking projects developing steadily, it is foreseeable that smart home and smart city will be hot topics in the coming two years.

Commenting on his show experience at secutech 2015, Iswanto was pleased to find products and solutions for mining, and expressed optimism about the transformation of secutech. "The Systems Integrator Forum will be a major attraction to systems integrators, especially with its collaboration with prestigious associations like ASIS," he added. Currently Lintastama is a partner of EverFocus Electronics, a Taiwanese manufacturer. Iswanto looks forward to seeing the Asian manufacturing elite present products and solutions with added values, as well as new innovative technologies at secutech 2016, giving his company a better ability to bring added benefits to its customers.
