The MicroDome G2 multi-megapixel camera series delivers 1.2-, 1080p, 3-, or 5-megapixel resolutions. These day/night cameras are available with a choice of lenses from 2.8mm to 16mm options. With a day/night mechanical IR cut filter, this camera is ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions, regardless of the time of day or night.

The camera includes remote focus, making it easier for an installer to accurately focus the camera remotely. The remote focus module also allows users to simply click "short-range focus" or "full-range focus" saving installers time and end users money.

For challenging low-light applications, the 1.2-megapixel model features NightView technology, making it capable of covering areas where very little light is present. For applications with strong backlighting, reflections from wet flooring or puddles, or contrast due to fog, mist, or glare, optional wide dynamic range is available on 1080p and 3-megapixel WDR models.

The new CorridorView feature allows the camera to be rotated 90 degrees so more relevant data can be captured. This feature is ideal for narrow hallways where capturing dead wall space can be eliminated. The three-axis lens adjustment provides users with more camera placement options, allowing the camera lens to be easily rotated in a variety of directions for a more precise field of view.

The camera series is available in an indoor, in-ceiling housing or in a surface mount IP66 rated version for indoor and outdoor applications. Surface and flush mount models feature a vandal resistant, IK-10 rated cast-aluminum housing with a polycarbonate bubble making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 55 kg of force.

This is best suited for businesses and organizations that require ultra-high resolution at a low cost per pixel. With a diameter of only four inches, the camera is about 70% smaller than traditional dome-style cameras. These compact dimensions make this camera ideal for discrete indoor/outdoor surveillance applications.

The IP camera is ONVIF Profile S (Open Network Dome Interface Forum) and PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) compliant, providing interoperability between network products.
