Sony Electronics' Security Systems Division is expanding its team with the addition of Wharton "Skip" Lochte as Southeast Security Manager. Lochte will oversee regional sales and distribution for the Southeast market with a focus on business development, customer relationships, and partnerships.
Sony Electronics' Security Systems Division is expanding its team with the addition of Wharton "Skip" Lochte as Southeast Security Manager. Lochte will oversee regional sales and distribution for the Southeast market with a focus on business development, customer relationships, and partnerships. He will also oversee Sony's Security Preferred Resellers (SSPR) program and other relationships among Sony's key channel partners in the security and surveillance industries.
Lochte joins Sony Electronics from Schneider Electric, where he held several sales and marketing positions, including Business Development Manager for Pelco by Schneider Electric, driving projects in the end user, architectural, and engineering communities. He also supported Schneider's Mid-Atlantic sales team, and was sales engineer for the company's critical systems group, spearheading sales in the Baltimore and Washington Metropolitan region, securing new business and growing industry relationships.
Lochte's prior experience also includes a variety of sales roles at AFA Protective Systems and Sonitrol of Baltimore.
