Johnson Controls ranks among the most attractive employers in China for engineering students, according to a recent survey.

In a recent ceremony, employee branding company Universum Global named Johnson Controls one of “China’s Most Attractive Employers” for 2015. The survey was conducted among more than 21,000 engineering students at 109 universities in China from September 2014 to April 2015.

"Congratulations to Johnson Controls for increasing your attractiveness to engineering students as well as securing positive impressions among the group,” said William Wu, country manager, China, Universum.

Other firms that were ranked highly by Chinese engineering students include Huawei, Alibaba, Apple, Baidu and Google.

Across the past 25 years, Universum has been using the insights from its annual student survey to help employers understand, attract, and retain current and future employees through its research, strategic consulting, and activation services.

The rankings measure the level of employer attractiveness of companies or organizations on the recruitment market.
