“While the Chinese have [products that are] different looking with standard features, Taiwanese have basic looking with improved features,” Antinucci said, adding that Taiwanese companies have a better knowledge of the technology and devices.
Talking more about Asian manufacturers, he said that Korean companies are more concerned about feasibility and user-experience, while Chinese companies are mostly concerned about cost-effectiveness and quantity.
Elaborating further on his home market, Antinucci added that the Italian market is coming out of an era where security products have to be installed by professionals to a more wider, easily accessible system.
