With RFID readers placed on top of the entrance of a retail shop, items taken away from the store can be detected, and staff can immediately be alerted.
Other than theft prevention, the system can help retailers track their products. With RFID, retailers can be informed quickly of the colors or sizes of the clothes that were checked out, and restock accordingly.
