Morpho-Dictao (Safran) announces that its electronic signature solution, Dictao AdSigner, is now included in the NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue (NIAPC), and is classified ‘NATO SECRET’.

The NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency Cyber Security office serves to help reinforce NATO’s role in preventing, detecting and countering cyber-attacks. In particular, it publishes the NIAPC, which lists products that are compliant with NATO security requirements. The publication provides the 28 NATO nations, allies, and NATO civil and military bodies with a catalogue of products for securing IT systems, and protecting sensitive data from all attacks.

Dictao AdSigner is now included in the NIAPC, and attained the ‘Green’ level evaluation scheme, or highest security level possible. It is now authorized to be used on NATO systems handling data up to and including the NATO SECRET (NS) security level. This is the 5th highest level of security out of 6 total levels.

In addition to the NATO approval, Dictao AdSigner is also certified at the EAL3+ level of the Common Criteria (ISO 15 408) security evaluation, an international standard which serves to evaluate the quality and reliability of IT security solutions.

Jacques Pantin, Executive Vice President of Morpho-Dictao, stated: “This certification confirms yet again the high security level of our digital signature solutions and their capability to protect highly sensitive information from all types of cyber-attacks. The inclusion in the NATO catalogue demonstrates our ability to offer highly secure market solutions that adhere to the strictest of regulatory and technical requirements.”
