Galaxy Control Systems has hired David Terrill as a Global Application Engineer for the Western U.S territory. Terrill has worked in the security and life safety industry for more than two decades, holding NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level IV Certification since 1994.

“David's lengthy experience and success in the security and life safety arena make him a valuable asset to Galaxy Control Systems as we continue to see interest in and demand for our industry-leading access control, video and security hardware and solutions,” said Robert Laughlin, President, Galaxy Control Systems.

Terrill comes to Galaxy after more than 11 years with facility system contracting services provider ATS Alaska. There he served as Operations Manager for several years before spearheading the founding of ATS Facility Systems, a branch of ATS Alaska, and launching ATS branches in Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington. Following these launches, Terrill continued to manage and grow the Boise branch while also serving as Chairman of the Idaho Chapter of ASIS.

As Global Application Engineer, Terrill will lead dealer training and technical support programs, as well as on-site training and technical support initiatives to further expand awareness and adoption of Galaxy Control Systems' complete portfolio of solutions in the Western U.S. region.

Prior to joining ATS, Terrill spent several years as Group Operations Supervisor for Siemens Industry US. He is also a regular contributor to SkillsUSA and is actively involved in a number of community services initiatives in and around Boise.
