VIVOTEK launches box IP cams with WDR technology
VIVOTEK announced the launch of its two new professional box network cameras IP8155HP and IP8165HP. IP8155HP and IP8165HP offer 60 fps @ 1.3-Megapixel resolution and 60 fps @ 2-Megapixel resolution respectively, delivering superb image quality.

Both cameras are designed with WDR technology. IP8165HP delivers WDR Pro, while IP8155HP is equipped with the even more advanced WDR Pro II, which provides extreme visibility under high contrast environments with a 4-shutter capture method. Combined with 3D Noise Reduction Technology, IP8155HP and IP8165HP are able to capture clear, polished video under low-light conditions and reduce bandwidth from sensor noise. In order to control the iris with extreme precision, both cameras are designed with a P-iris lens with its built-in stepper motor. Through close integration with the camera firmware, the lens is able to keep the iris opening at an optimal level at all times.

More uniquely, in order to help installers to adjust the focus of IP8155HP and IP8165HP more easily, the RBF (Remote Back Focus) System is being introduced on both cameras, ensuring precise focus adjustment. In addition, incorporating the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) function allows the image to be free of turbulence whenever physical shaking of the camera is detected.

Steve Ma, Executive VP at VIVOTEK, stated, “In response to the strong market demand for cameras with high visibility under any kind of conditions, we are keeping our commitment to the development of WDR series cameras in different form factors. Right after the launch of a series of dome and bullet type network cameras earlier this year, now we have our box type network cameras with advanced WDR technology, meeting our customers' diversified demands.”
