Samsung Techwin’s open platform WiseNetIII DSP chipset has won the Video Hardware of the Year category of Benchmark Magazine’s 2014 Innovation Awards.
Samsung Techwin's open platform WiseNetIII DSP chipset has won the Video Hardware of the Year category of Benchmark Magazine's 2014 Innovation Awards. The WiseNetIII DSP chipset was among the winners of nine different categories, including access control, intruder alarm, perimeter protection, infrastructure security and video surveillance solutions. The winners were announced at an award ceremony which took place at IFSEC International.
To win the award, WiseNetIII DSP Chipset faced stiff competition from video surveillance products supplied by many of the security industry's leading manufacturers. Peter Ainsworth, Head of Product and Marketing for Samsung Techwin Europe said, “I was delighted to receive the award on behalf of Samsung Techwin design engineers who have developed a truly impressive family of 1.3MP, 2MP and 3MP cameras and domes, all of which benefit from the innovative features of the WiseNetIII DSP chipset.”
