The increasing numbers of thefts as well as terrorist attacks have become the driving force in explosion of security surveillance market in order to protect assets and lives. The security awareness is even stronger in the hospitality sector. Hotel/serviced apartment surveillance has become more important than ever. Installed surveillance system can well protect both the hotel and the guests.
Challenges
Everyday Home Apartment at Beijing Xizhimen branch, one of the region's most established serviced apartment hotel chains, has installed LILIN video security surveillance systems to reach total situational awareness. Beijing Xizhimen serviced apartment provides 40 rooms and suits, and is able to accommodate more than 100 guests. The management team requested a long-term security solution, and they chose an integrated and highly scalable security system based on open standards, provided by LILIN.
Solutions
In this project, Beijing Xizhimen serviced apartment hotel installed 21 L series IP-based cameras, 9-channel NVRs (NVR109) and 4-channel NVRs (NVR404c / NVR104). The system is managed through the intuitive and user-friendly video management software, CMX.
Besides, Beijing Xizhimen serviced apartment deployed 9 IP cameras( LR7022) in the hotel. LR7022, 2-megapixel IP Day/Night outdoor IR dome, is idea for both indoor and outdoor environment; they achieve high-performance WDR, 3D noise reduction, and true Day / Night function that delivers high quality image and meets the vandal proof needs that the serviced apartment required at the same time.
The advantages of using front-end NVR devices are able to save bandwidth and cost. Front-end NVR109, NVR104, and NVR404c work exceptionally well for remote locations or extended facilities where there is poor bandwidth back to the monitoring location, as it eliminates maintaining a remote server.
