EnGenius Networks, Inc. started as a long-range wireless phone provider, now also provides wireless, PoE Ethernet switch, VoIP and IP surveillance products. Its home IP surveillance lineup includes network cameras, gateways and software.

The company promotes its EnGenius Cloud platform that consists of EnViewer, EnRoute, EnTalk and EnShare for home surveillance. With EnViewer and home IP cameras, users can view live videos on smartphones, and receive alert messages triggered by motion detection. Besides home care and home security, EnGenius's EnRoute targets family care and employee management with location sharing, tracking user's location through its app.

Moreover, the company offers a cost-saving solution called EnTalk. EnTalk lets users enjoy free long-distance and international calls via smartphones. The cost-saving solution adopts SIP-enabled telephony networks for smartphone users to talk anywhere like making local calls.

For multimedia and extended storage need, the company designs its home router as a home cloud center that supports external USB hard drives for data storage. EnShare APP let users stay connected with smartphones and tablets to manage wireless status, monitor network and view videos and photos stored in its home router.

The company thinks it is a trend to move toward home automation market in the near future. The company plans to release Wi-Fi controlled home automation devices like thermostat, and humidity and smog detectors.
