Jim Vogel named ADT Vice President of dealer sales
The ADT Corporation announced the appointment of Jim Vogel as vice president of dealer sales. Vogel will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s long-term strategy to grow and optimize the ADT Authorized Dealer Program. He reports directly to Residential Business President Alan D. Ferber.

Vogel will be responsible for developing and executing the company's long-term strategy to grow and optimize the ADT Authorized Dealer Program. He reports directly to Residential Business President Alan D. Ferber.

“Jim has successfully led indirect channels across several businesses with impressive results,” said Ferber. “His leadership and business savvy will help accelerate the growth of ADT's Authorized Dealer Program and drive profitability.”

Vogel joins ADT from Allstate Insurance, where he served as vice president of the Midwest Region and directed the design and successful launch of the Allstate Auto Dealer Program. Before Allstate, he spent seven years as vice president and general manager of alternative markets for Qwest Communications, leading the startup of the company's customer-engaging channels which included retail stores, eBusiness, strategic alliances and partnerships. Prior to Qwest, Vogel spent 17 years in global sales, marketing and operational leadership roles for Goodyear International Corporation then for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Vogel earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from SUNY and Syracuse University, and an MBA from Kent State University's Graduate School of Management.
