In partnership with the ICSS and the Department of Protective Systems of Dubai Police (DPS), Tavcom tutors are currently using DirectIP solutions to conduct Foundation and Advanced CCTV courses that enhance the skills of local engineers. These courses enable the DPS to issue licences to those wishing to install and maintain electronic security systems in accordance with international codes and good practices.
Along with equipment from other leading manufacturers, Tavcom are utilising DirectIP solutions comprising 32 one-megapixel and two-megapixel IP dome and box cameras, eight 16-channel network video recorders (NVRs) and IDIS Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switches, all operated and managed through the intuitive IDIS Centre? bundled video management software (VMS).
